Connect two devices in the same room or remotely

Open Detail on two iPhones nearby to connect and record high-quality video and audio on both devices at the same time. Or connect remotely and invite anyone to join you from anywhere to record high-quality video together.

Share an invite link with someone

In the bottom right of the Home screen or the top right of the Project screen, you will find a button of a person and a + icon (👤+). To connect 2 devices in the same room or remotely, tap this button to share an invite link with someone. Connect when your guest opens the link & joins.

When connected, tap the record button on either device and both will start recording.

Download high-quality video and audio

After recording, you can download the high quality footage by clicking on the button in the top right of a person and a checkmark (👤✓) to download the High Res footage.

Guests join from the browser

Guests can also join your recording in any browser. If a guest joins on web, they won’t record any local audio and video, but you’ll record the incoming video and audio stream in the app.

💡 Tip: Audio augmented

Record with the built-in microphones of both iPhones, connect an external lightning or USB-c mic to both devices, or connect an audio interface like the RødeCaster or a wireless microphone set to one of your devices. Detail automatically syncs the audio tracks for excellent audio quality.
